We make our teak furniture from first grade plantation grown teakwood (Tectona grandis) obtained from legal sources in Indonesia.
The natural oil content of Teakwood is high, which makes it stable and resistant to rot when exposed to extremes of weather. For several centuries, this special quality has made teakwood the choice for marine construction and the finest timber for outdoor furniture.
Due to the ultra violet spectrum in sunlight, teakwood will gradually weather to a silver grey colour.

This comprehensive range of woven outdoor furniture has been made from a synthetic fibre which is colour fast, exceptionally strong and completely resistant to sun and rain.
Each piece has been hand woven over an aluminium frame and requires the minimum of maintenance.
A number of products in our woven range have been designed by one of today’s most enduring designers of contemporary furniture, Vladimir Kagan.

We use "316 Marine Grade" stainless steel, which is harder and with a higher resistance to rust than lower grades, making it more durable in coastal and marine environments.
We make our slings from Textiline®, which is woven from PVC coated polyester non-stretch yarn.
These fabrics are strong, mildew resistant and flame-retardant, requiring the minimum of maintenance.
We use sonic welding to produce our slings, which is more aesthetically pleasing than glueing or stitching.

We use 'Virgin Aluminium' for our aluminium furniture, which means it has not been reclaimed and is stronger and longer lasting.
We chemically clean and then powder-coat the aluminium to prevent oxidation and to ensure it gives long service.
